The alloy is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance. After aging and heat treatment, the strength of the alloy can be greatly increased, and the ductility and tensile resistance of the alloy can be greatly improved. The alloy also has strong stress corrosion resistance.
Applications of Inconel 725:
Used for pipe fittings, joints and bearings in acid-resistant equipment. It is also widely used in marine ship equipment.
